The Kingdom of Ebenthal comdemns the actions of the King of Bauru on the 1st and only Conference of Santiago-Kingdom of Manso Reunion.
Note written in Portuguese as posted on the country's official facebook page.
The Grand Vizier Raphael Sousa of Ebenthal commented on the episode.
It is really an absurd when a so-called micronationalist acts like a child. People should know how to separate what is personal from what is political.
On 13 April 2020, the first and only reunion by far occurred between representants of the Kingdom of Manso and the Conference of Santiago, with the special participation of the King Gustavo of Bauru on the Manso's will. This reunion took place as a hangout via Google to debate the ongoing crisis over the creation of a derivatist-led micronational sector, the content of the Treaty of Persenburg, the creation of Conference of Santiago and it's founder's common policy to not recognize simulationists and modelists micronations anymore. As the debate flowed intense between the Conference of Santiago's members, the High King Arthur II of Ebenthal and the Prince-Regent César of the Lateran States, plus the Mansean monarch, Queen Marina, and her peers, as well as the King Gustavo of Bauru, a simulationist micronation, the latter offended the Treaty of Persenburg's signatories constantly by calling the text badly written, demanding that the treaty signatories should openly speak their "hatred for the simulationism and modelism", to which the High King Arthur II answered with exaltation but respectfully. The apex came when, out of control, the King of Bauru branded the High King of Ebenthal,as well as all of the Conference of Santiago's members and Treaty of Persenburg signatories, as scroundels, to which the Ebenthali monarch replied with a little bad language and left the meeting.
The next day, the Ministry of Information and Propaganda published a note condemning the Bauruan monarch.
See the note content on in full:
"The Government of Ebenthal, in the name of His Illustrious Majesty, the High King Arthur II, makes it known that he strongly repudiate the actions of the "King Gustavo of Bauru", who openly offended the Ebenthali monarch, who had willingly disposed to participate in the first and last common meeting between the Kingdom of Manso and the Conference of Santiago, with bad words, false accusations and clumsy and purely personal interpretations. The Kingdom of Ebenthal values the professionalism of all micronationalists (or who call themselves that) and despises those who pretend to be it, but act with extreme personality, arrogance and, like a child, with tantrum. This event is certainly a shame for all micronationalism and we hope it will not happen again."
