Supporting the people of Ebenthal and protesting for changes in Brazil.
At the morning of 1 June 2021, His Majesty The King sanctioned a bill implementing a new universal basic income to the Ebenthali active citizens, or those who request it, known as Real Renda Básica, or Royal Basic Income, or by the Portuguese acronym RRB. The RRB was firstly proposed by The Mt. Dig. Duke of Launceston, Councillor for Gillisburgh and member of the Moderate Party, at the n of Councillors in 30 May. The project creates a free and universal income at the value of Δ5 monthly for any Ebenthali citizen actively engaged in micronationalist action and those who, being active or not, apply for it. The bill, labeled Bill No 33-2021 was approved by 9 voted in favor with only 1 against, in a quorum of 10 councillors, and rapidly was sent to the House of Aristocrats where it was reviewed and approved by 12 votes in favor and 2 abstensions. The creation of the RRB implies on a further expanse of Ebenthal's pyrite stock if the country wishes to avoid inflation. It worth remember that, months ago, the Konkrëse passed a law increasing the annual acquiring of pyrite from 1kg to 1,5kg. The adopted bill works as a "Law of Protest", as previously labeled by the Prime Minister, except it is actually functional and applicable. It aims, more than support the Ebenthali citizens financialy, protest for the creation of an universal basic income in Brazil amidst the situation on which many families found themselves because of the COVID-19 pandemics and the consequential unemployment. Countries such as Spain have so far also adopted a basic income, with Germany and Wales almost completing its own programs as well.
