By signing the Treaty of Santiago, the micronation became one of the eight founding-members of this derivatist micronational organization.
After a formal presentation by it's author, the King Thomas I of Quinta Velha, in 7 April 2020, His Illustrious Majesty the High King Arthur I of Ebenthal signed the Treaty of Santiago, named after the Cisplatine War's Battle of Santiago, an instrument which founded the Conference of Santiago, a derivatist micronational organization with the goal to act coordenately in promoting the derivatism on the Lusophone and Brazilian sectors.
The Government of the Kingdom of Ebenthal, on behalf of His Illustrious Majesty the High King, comes to the public to announce with great pleasure and immense happiness that he has become a founding member of the Conference of Santiago! The Conference of Santiago, created on the initiative of His Majesty King Thomas I of Quinta-Velha, aims to promote derivatism among Brazilian micronationalists, as well as to establish inter-sectoral relations, observing the rules defined by the Goetha Protocol and currently has eight member states. The accession of the Kingdom of Ebenthal was made by the Treaty of Santiago, authored by the King of Quinta-Velha, serving as the base document of the conference foundation, which was signed by His Illustrious Majesty on 7 April, and ratified by the Legislative Conclave of the Nobility on 12 April 2020.

Validity process
The Traeaty of Santiago was firstly signed by the High King of Ebenthal in 7 April 2020, and the submitted to approval by the Legislative Conclave of the Nobility, the micronation's sole legislative chamber made up by entitled aristocrats. The original text was voted approved in 12 April 2020 by 8 votes against 2, with 6 abstensions, sanctioned by the Ebenthali monarch and publicly announced that same day.
