Important facts from November to December 2020.
Flag of Alvorada: In 29 November, His Highness The Prince of Alvorada hoisted at his palace in Abyssi what he proclaimed to be the Feredative Unit's new official flag:
A white-and-blue flag emulating the sea around the Principality of Alvorada. A homage he paid to his late wife Marília, Princess of Triunphus, the King's mother, who passed away that day, two years ago, in 2018. The flag was dedicated to her, who deeply loved Alvorada and its whereabouts, and in celebration to the Mother's Day in Ebenthal, celebrated this year for the first time in 29 November in honor of the Her Late Highness The Princess of Triunphus. Regular politics: In 15 November the Vice Lord Count of Bicuíba, in the absence of the Lord Speaker, formally started the voting at the Fruchemburg Convention. The results were positive toward the initial documment, 13 votes in favor, 3 abstensions. In 21 November the Fruchemburg Convention was approved by the Lord Speaker and sent to the King's Palace where the King granted royal assent in 2 December, while celebrating Pedro II's day. In 28 November The Prime Minister Prince Fernando created the office of Ministry of Science and Technology through decree and named the Count of Novesfora to assume the office with immediate effect. Prince Fernando argued the necessity for such an office for properly deal with technological issues and science promotion. The Count of Novesfora, a Peer from the Principality of Negromonte, same as the Prime Minister, is graduated at Information Technology by the Federal University of Juíz de Fora. As soon as the King learned from the office, he congratulated both the Prime Minister and the new minister and asked the Count of Novesfora to be take active part in the studies for the development of an online intermicronational market for the Conference of Santiago to further develop the use of the Confederate Doubloon.
Orders of Chivalry: In 4 December 2020 the College of Peers of the Realm in session agreed on the restructuring of the National Pantheon of Orders, Awards and Decorations as proposed by His Most Gracious Majesty The King. The Order of the Black Needles and the Order of St. Arnald were extinguished by "being useless", as previously appointed during parliamentary sessions in October this years, and in face of it, the Order of the Blue Blood, which shall award royals exclusively, and the Royal Ebenthali Order, to award friendly heads of state on the act of establishing diplomatic relations, were created. In consequence, the Order of Lady Mary ceased to be the lower Ebenthali chivalric order, ranking above the Royal Ebenthali Order. On the specific case of the Royal Ebenthali Order, every currently serving head of state of friendly nations will be retroactively made Knights.
As for the Order of the Blue Blood, it was originally an order of the Kingdom of Roschfallen. Talks from October to December between King Ferdinand I of the barely-active Roschfallen and King Arthur II of Ebenthal resulted in the Treaty of the Blue Blood by which the Roschfallenian monarch, on behalf of the Roschfallenian state, handed the sovereignity and mastership over the order to the Clan Brum on the figure of the Ebenthal monarch, and subsequently, accorded with the College of Peers, the order was introduced into the National Pantheon.

Montediszamble Convention: In 4 December the Kingdom was invited to join the Montediszamble Convention as a signatory. The convention, presented by the President of Lostisland and the Aerican Emperor, openly condemns attacks to freedom of expression, the canceling culture, personal public humiliation, etc. In the Brazilian Sector, Karnia-Ruthenia and Quinta Velha have so far signed the documment which was presented to the College of Peers by the Lord Speaker Marquis of Rozandir and it was debated in 5 and 6 Decembers in a double session attended by 15 Peers of the Realm. The main issue in signing the convention, points King Arthur, is the matter with freedom of expression, Ebenthal having a constitutional policy which in one side assures personal freedom but restricts what can be understood as potentitally harmful to the society. Amidst the discussions, the Duke of Launceston, the oldest-serving Peer of the Realm, aroused as the stronger defender of the constitution and opponent of the Montediszamble Convention, supportes by the Duke of Guanabara and the Count of Aida, while Prince Fernando of Negromonte has shown the greater support for joining the convention as a defender of full freedom of thought and expression. Talks are expected to keep throughout the week and the College of Peers will reassemble in 12 December. Foreign Relations: In 4 December 2020 the Government of the Kingdom of Ebenthal and the Government of the Hanseatic and Confederate States of Achsen signed a treaty of mutual recognition and friendship. Mr. Lucas Ribeiro, Prince of Achsen, was awarded Grand Cross of the Order of the Silver Cat. Coat of Arms: In 4 December 2020 His Most Graciou Majesty King Arthur II enacted a royal decree by which he implemented a new version of the national arms, this time in a green mantle, with no supports, as the country's lead official arms. His justification was that the exaggeration in the red color on the previous arms. Nonetheless the red arms retained its official status aside of the green one.
